Boat Fire - Rose Lane

At 1521 hours, the Berlin Fire Company was dispatched for an outside fire in the area of Rose Lane off Flower St. Berlin firefighter Mike Ellingsworth was first to arrive, advising it was a boat on fire. Chief Derrick Simpson arrived and established the command, advising Engine 604 to place the 100' bumper line in service with foam operations. The crew of Engine 604 made quick work of the fire. Command held Engine 604 on the scene, placed all other units in service and requested a fire marshal response.
