Clam Bake - Berlin Fire Company Headquarters

On Saturday, May 30, 2009, the Berlin Fire Company hosted its 1st Annual Clam Bake. The event was held at Berlin Fire Company Headquarters on Main St in Berlin from 6pm til 10pm. Food items included steamed clams, raw clams, clam fritters, clam strips, potatoes, corn on the cob, hush puppies, popcorn shrimp, soda and beer. Entertainment was provided by DJ Billy T. Offshore racing boats "Whoz Your Daddy" and "Mitigator" were on location for everyone to look at. The Girdletree Volunteer Fire Company had a Harley Davidson motorcycle on location to promote sales for their annual bike giveaway. The main event for the evening took place with members of the fire company taking their turns in a dunking booth. A special thanks goes out to members from Showell, Powellville and Girdletree Volunteer Fire Company's that helped us with the clam bake. If not for their help, the clam bake would not have happened.
