Local Fire and EMS Providers Receive Commendations - Snow Hill

The Worcester County Commissioners recognized serveral local fire, EMS, and police personnel for their life saving efforts. On October 9, 2009, personnel were alerted for a house fire on Flower Street in Berlin. First arriving police officers advised the responding fire units that Mr. Rodney Blemont was trapped in the home. A team effort of Berlin, Ocean Pines, Showell, and Ocean City Fire Companies rescued and provide life saving care to the victim. Mr. Belmont was able to join the Commissioners in presenting these awards.
