Crash with Rescue - Hall Road

At 2216 hours on Friday, February 25, 2011, the Berlin Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. While responding, Worcester Central advised that the patient was trapped in the vehicle and was bleeding from the head. Berlin EMS arrived and immediately requested aviation. Command 6 arrived and Assistant Chief Bryon Trimble established "Hall Road Command." The crews of Engine 604 and Rescue 6 worked to extricate the patient. The patient was rapidly extricated and released to EMS care. MSP Trooper 4 landed and Trooper Paramedic Prince assisted with EMS care while transporting the patient to PRMC priority 1. Command was terminated and the scene was turned over to MSP for investigation.
