Working House Fire - Ironshire Station Road

On the above date at 1101 hours Berlin along with an Engine and Tanker from Newark and tankers from Showell and Powellville were alerted for a house fire on Ironshire Station Road. Engine 604 arrived and found fire showing from a single story rancher. An aggressive interior attack was initiated by Engine 604 putting a good knock on the fire. Ladder 6 arrived and cut to 2 vent holes in the roof due to the fire extending to the attic. Ocean Pines Engine 1102 provided cover-up at Berlin HQ but were eventually requested to the scene to assist with overhaul. The Worcester County Fire Marshal's office were on the scene for the investigation. Units on the scene: Berlin: E-604, E-608, Tanker 6, Tanker 6-1, Ladder 6, Rescue 6, FP 6 and Paramedic 1; Newark: E-506 and Tanker 5; Showell: Tanker 8; Ocean Pines: E-1102 Incident Commander: B.
