Controlled Burn - Georgetown Rd

On Monday, March 10, 2008, the Berlin Fire Company conducted a controlled burn and live fire training excercise on Georgetown Road in Berlin. Showell Fire Department was at the drill with their tanker and an engine, as well as the Ocean City Volunteer Fire Company with their tanker and utility. The burn began at 1800 hours with crews doing interior fire attack and concluded with burning the house down. All units were clear the burn by 2130 hours. Units on Scene: Engine 604, Tanker 605, Engine 608,Tower 6, Rescue 6, Fire Police 6, Utility 680, 600 Paramedics 1 and 3, Engine 804, Tanker 805, Tanker 719 and Utility 780.
