House Fire - Woodside Drive South Point

At 1540 hours Berlin and Ocean City were alerted for the house on fire in South Point. A/C C. Brown (653) arrived with nothing showing from side A of a approximately 4000 sqft SFD with nothing showing. The home owner stated that the fire was in the chimney that had extended to the wall. Engine 604 arrived and advanced a 1 3/4" handline to the rear of the house. Investigation found fire in the enclosed framing that contained the chimney pipe that had extended to the roof. Berlin and Ocean City operated for over an hour completing overhal and extinguishment. Tanker 8 (Showell) was also on the scene. A/C Helmuth (651) was the IC.
