Motor Vehicle Crash - Ocean Gateway and Racetrack Road

At 1025 hours the Berlin Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Ocean Gateway and Racetrack Road. Initial reports from Worcester Central advised a 2 car crash with a total of 4 patients. A second ambulance from Berlin as well as an ambulance from Ocean Pines were requested. Engine 604 arrive and Captain Eric Budd established command, confirming a 2 vehicle crash with all occupants out of the vehicle. After assessment by the initial EMS crew, the other ambulances were placed in service. All 4 patients refused transport. The crew of Engine 604 and Rescue 6 worked to contain a minor fluid leak from one of the vehicles. All units returned to service shortly after that.
